Realizing your personnel and cash difficulties can decide the success or failure of any task. Do not overestimate your skills or underestimate your cash flow.  Map out the details of all of the projects going on and what you are bidding that could happen in the near future.

Inflexibility is another challenges. Have a willingness to change and continually review your plan versus reality.  If you see your plan is failing, be willing to make some changes. By refusing to gain success against your plan has doomed many companies to continue down a road to failure. Make necessary changes and with your plan and learn. Sometimes failure teaches us a lot.
